Aviad Kaufman, Chairman since 2016

Mr. Aviad Kaufman serves as the chairman of the board of Israel Corp since 2016. Mr. Kaufman is currently the CEO of Quantum Pacific (UK) LLP, which is related to Mr. Idan Ofer. He is also a board member of ICL and Kenon Holdings. Prior to joining Quantum Pacific in 2008 as CFO, he fulfilled different senior corporate finance roles at Amdocs Ltd. (NYSE:DOX). Previously, he held various consultancy positions with KPMG. Mr. Kaufman is a CPA and holds a BA in Accounting and Economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem (with distinction), and an MBA in Finance from Tel Aviv University.

Amnon Lion, Director since 1999

Mr. Amnon Lion serves as a director of Aria (Madym) Ltd., Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd., the London Steam-Ship Owners Mutual Insurance Association Ltd., and several private "Ofer Group" companies. He is involved in a number of charitable organizations including the Keshet Eilon Foundation and KKL Charitable Trust.

Dan Suesskind, Independent Director since 2011

Dan S. Suesskind joined Israel Corp.’s Board in November 2011. He currently serves as a director of several companies, including Teva, Migdal Insurance Company Ltd. and Syneron Medical Ltd., as well as a member of the board (and finance and investment committee) of the Jerusalem Foundation, a member of the Investment Committee of the Israel Academy of Science and Humanities and the Board of Trustees of the Hebrew University. Prior to joining Teva’s Board in January 2010, he was Teva’s Chief Financial Officer from 1977 until 2008. He also served as a director of Teva from 1981 to 2001. From 2004 to 2011 he was a director of Ness Technologies Inc. He is one of the founders and a member of the steering committee of the Israeli Forum of Chief Financial Officers. He received a B.A. in economics and political science from the Hebrew University in 1965 and an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts in 1969.

Yaacov Amidror, External Director since 2016

Major General (Ret.) Yaacov Amidror served as the National Security Advisor to the P.M of Israel and the Head of the National Security Council, for more than 2.5 years (April 2011- November 2013). Major General (Ret.) Yaacov Amidror served with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for 36 years (1966-2002). During his long military career, Major General (Ret.). Amidror held the following positions:

  1. Commander of IDF Military Colleges, including The National Defense College, Staff and Command College, and Junior (tactical) Command Academy.
  2. Military Secretary for the Minister of Defense.
  3. Director of the Intelligence Analysis Division, responsible for National Intelligence Assessment.
  4. Head of a large - scale technology project.

After his retirement, he has served as Senior Research Fellow to the Institute for Middle East Research in Washington ( in 2002).

Major General (Ret.) Amidror is now the Anne and Greg Rosshandler Senior Fellow at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies, Bar - Ilan University, and he is a Distinguish Fellow of JINSA's Gemunder Center. He was a member of several large Israeli companies' boards as well as numerous high-tech start-ups.Major General (Ret.) Amidror received a Masters Degree in Political Science from the University of Haifa and various other degrees and certificates from IDF colleges.

Joshua Rosensweig, External Director since 2017

Attorney Dr. Joshua Rosensweig was born in Toronto, Canada and immigrated to Israel in 1973, where he received his LLB in Law from Bar-Ilan University. After completing the required clerkship and becoming a member of the Israeli Bar, Dr. Rosensweig studied at NYU and completed both an LLM (in Taxation – 1979) and a JSD (doctorate – 1981) in International Taxation. Dr. Rosensweig carried on a law practice dealing with commercial and fiscal law, including cross-border and international aspects thereof, and related M&A activity, representing leading institutions, companies and investors in Israel and abroad. Dr. Rosensweig lectured in both Bar-Ilan Law School and in the Recanati MBA Program at Tel-Aviv University for approximately 15 years, as well as publishing articles and chapters in major tax periodicals and texts. He also served as Special Advisor on Fiscal Matters to the Knesset (Israeli parliament) Finance Committee, and served as a member on 3 government committees set up to reform and introduce amendments to Israel's fiscal regime, in the areas of: tax-free reorganizations, international tax principles and taxation under inflationary conditions. Dr. Rosensweig served as Chairman of the Board of First Int'l Bank of Israel (one of Israel's 5 largest banks), and as a director of major companies in various sectors.

Yair Caspi, Director since 2019

Mr.Yair Caspi served for 20 years (1998-2018) at the commercial law firm of Caspi & Co. In that period, he was managing partner of the firm as well as senior partner dealing with the practice areas of mergers & acquisitions, banking and Finance. In addition, he handled privatization processes, creditor arrangements and market reforms. He represented various public corporations, including holding companies, banks and financial institutions. Mr. Caspi holds an LLB in Law and a BA in business administration from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya and an International Executive MBA from Northwestern University & Tel Aviv University.

Tali Bellish Michaud, Independent Director since 2019

Tali Bellish Michaud joined the Israel Corp.’s Board in September 2019. She was previously a director of several companies, including IAI, Israeli aerospace industries, Ayalon Insurance Company, Blue square Real Estate Ltd and Danel human resource.

Tali’s main work experience is in the areas of risk management, actuarial science and finance. She currently works as a consultant and has previously held the following positions:

  • A partner at PwC - Manager of Risk management and Actuarial services – advisory group, VP at Clal insurance, Chief risk office and a number of actuarial positions in insurance and pension funds.
  • She received a BSc. In Statistics and actuarial science from Witwatersrand university in Johannesburg and an M.B.A. from the University of Tel Aviv. She is also a fellow of the British Institute of actuaries (FIA) as well as a Fellow of the Israeli Association of actuaries (FILAA).
