Mr. Gilad was appointed CEO of Israel Corp. in 2007 after serving as the company's Senior Vice President for Business Development and Strategy. Prior to joining Israel Corp., Mr. Gilad was Senior Vice President of Migdal Insurance Company, CEO of Migdal Investment Management Ltd. and Chairman of Migdal Capital Markets Ltd. As Accountant General and Deputy Head of the Budget Division of Israel's Ministry of Finance, Mr. Gilad played a role in negotiating Israel's peace accords with Jordan and the Palestinian Authority. He served as CFO of Israel Aircraft Industries. Mr. Gilad is Chairman of ICL, ZIM Integrated Shipping Services LTD and IC Green Energy Ltd., and director of Tower Semiconductors Ltd., Qoros Ltd. and several ICL subsidiaries. Mr. Gilad holds an MA in Business Administration from Bar Ilan University, and a BA in Economics, Agricultural Administration and Natural Sciences from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Mr. Gilad is active in Yedidei Atidim Association, a non-profit organization that integrates peripheral populations into the higher education system. He has initiated and directed strategic programs for the Israel government aimed at improving Israel's Negev and Galilee regions. Mr. Gilad holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the IDF reserves.
