 Major General (Res.) Yaacov Amidror is Vice President of the Lander Institute, an academic center in Jerusalem. He served with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for 36 years, primarily in Intelligence, specializing in strategic planning, counterterrorism and international policy. He also served as Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Middle East Research in Washington and as an adviser to various governmental projects. Major General Amidror is a director of Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. He holds a BA from the University of Tel Aviv, a Masters Degree in Political Science from the University of Haifa, and various other degrees and certificates from IDF colleges.
