Professor Langholz is President of HIT – Holon Institute of Technology, a public, academic institution for higher education. He was Director General of the Tel Aviv University from 2002 to 2007, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Chairperson of the Department of Electrical Engineering–Systems, headed TAU's Computer and Software Engineering Program and served on its faculty for 35 years. He has also held numerous academic positions abroad. Professor Langholz has co-authored nearly one hundred research papers and five books, co-edited three research volumes. He also serves as a Director of several Israeli companies. He holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of London.
